We had a terrific time trick-or-treating on Saturday night – although someone did steal the bowl that I had left out with candy. They didn’t just the candy; no, they took the bowl too. Shame on them.

The weather was beautiful and the kids were scary….errrrr, I mean they were well costumed.
The Lake Barcroft Annual Halloween Parade was held today led by the J.E.B. Stuart Marching Band and a crowd of residents (young and young-at-heart).
This fabulous event is organized and paid for by the Lake Barcroft Woman’s Club.

The annual Lake Barcroft Halloween Parade (hosted by the Woman’s Club) will be held this coming Sunday (10/25) at 2 pm.
As a mother of a small child this is one of our favorite events; especially when the weather is nice.
Meet at Beach 5 at 1:45 pm to line-up. Kids and adults are both encouraged to wear costumes. And nice dogs may come too.

Paraders will walk to Beach 3 led by the J.E.B. Stuart High School Marching Band. Goody bags will be handed out to the kids when they reach Beach 3.
