MINUTES OF THE LAKE BARCROFT ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS

October 11, 2000

Prior to the regular meeting, the Board entered executive session at 7:04 PM to consider community recognition awards and announcements that would be made at the 50th Anniversary celebration, official complimentary invitations to the Gala and interpretation of the Bylaws with regard to "rebudgeting".

The regular meeting of the Lake Barcroft Association (LBA) Board of Directors was called to order at 7:45 PM by President David Feld at J.E.B. Stuart High School, Falls Church, VA. Those present were LBA Directors David Feld, George Waters, Bob Schreiber, Karol Forsberg, Nan Brent, Mac Canter, Peter Browne, Bob Foster, Ken Leventhal, George McLennan, Ralph Smalley and Therese St. Hilaire. Also present was Improvements Committee Chairman, Ernie Rauth. Other guests included Claudia Daley, Cindy Waters, Chris Buehler, Rick Clayton, Christina Calvo, John Agnone, Maureen Simonson, Jim Ninteman and Roy Weeks.

 

David Feld opened the meeting by announcing the actions taken in executive session: (1) A commemoratvie plaque honoring Stuart Finley's service to the community will be announced at the LBA's October Civic Affairs meeting and formally dedicated at the 50th Anniversary Gala. It will be installed at an appropriate location in the community, not yet chosen by the Board. (2) State Delegate Bob Hull will make a presentation of official State recognition of Lake Barcroft's 50th anniversary and will receive a complimentary ticket to the event. (3) A complimentary invitation will be given to Ernie Rauth in view of his many years of voluntary
