FOLLOW UP FROM CIVIC AFFAIRS MEETING: David Goslin discussed follow up steps from the civic affairs meeting. He recommended to the Board the following options: Option A: Could schedule a meeting in December or early January and send out materials again. Option B: Have one or more meetings with anyone in the community interested and have a vote at the regular February meeting. Option C: Hold community informational meetings for those interested and mailing out a ballot.

Discussion took place and the Board agreed to plan B. It was also agreed to post something on LakeLink as well as in the January Newsletter announcing this decision. It was suggested to schedule a meeting between now and the January Board meeting so suggestions can be considered at that point. A vote will take place at the February meeting.

He read the proposed statement from the ARC and asked the Board to accept it. Motion from Kevin, seconded by Pete that the Board accept the committee’s recommendation. David Feld opposed. Motion carried. (Attachment to minutes: Statement from the ARC)

Dave distributed a draft version of supplemental language regarding Parcel A including a disclosure packet and a supplementary declaration clarifying the Association’s specific rights and authority over the lots in the Cloisters. The Board thanked David for all of his hard work on this issue.

COMMUNITY WATCH/SECURITY: George McLennan attended the Mason District meeting and crime in the area overall is down.

MEMBERSHIP: Regina Derzon reported that in September LBA collected one new membership fee of $3,500 (a lot without a previous membership).
