2019 LBA Labor Day Games - Beach 3

 

We look forward to seeing you down at Beach 3.  Here's what you need to know:

• Who:  You and your families!!!!  Do not forget beach tags!!!
• What: Labor Day Games (of course) featuring a schedule of amazing events and feats of skill in which neighbors compete with neighbors for glory and MEDALS!!!
• When:  10:00 AM registration with the 1 Mile Fun Run at 11AM and the final tug o' war event wrapping up around 3:00 PM.  Fishing derby participants get out whenever you think you can catch the biggest fish, but before the fishing competition ends at 11AM.  A full schedule is provided below and attached!
• Where: Beach 3 - Register in the parking lot!
• How:  Run, hop, swim, row, paddle, and dig for pennies, nickles, dimes, quarters, and a dollar coin for each age group of the penny pile!  
• An Extra 'V' for Volunteers:  We have some amazing volunteers lined up, some of who have volunteered for several years; but we can always use more.  It is not too late to volunteer!!!  You can come to the registration table tomorrow or e-mail Kevin or Jasmine Sheriff at sheriff436@gmail.com or jasmine5762@gmail.com
• An Extra 'W' for Weather:  Looks to be mid- to high-80s and humid, with a potential stray shower and a real feel in the low 90s. One big reminder for those boaters out there: The water between beaches 2 and 3 will be closed a little before 2:00 PM up until about 3ish for the water events per the schedule below, so get to the side of the channel you want to be at before about 1:45 to be safe.
