Music on the Lake
On Sunday, January 28, we will present fabulous young soprano Amy Nicole Broadbent, currently with the United States Navy Band, along with accomplished pianist Elizabeth Brown. I've been trying to have Ms. Broadbent in this series since I was deeply moved by her heavenly voice at a Bach Consort private event a couple of years ago, and am delighted to share the experience with you. The duo will explore centuries of music and poetry, ranging from English baroque to contemporary American, including songs by Henry Purcell, Samuel Barber and living composer Dominick Argento. The concert will be held at the beautiful lakefront living room of Anne and Will O'Neil. Stay for reception to chat with the performers and neighbors.
