The final Rusticway Chamber Music Concert of the season will be held at the home of Kristin Glibert and Marion Baker on Sunday, April 17, at 4:00pm.

The library is still accepting gently used book donations of all kinds for this upcoming sale so if you have already begun your spring cleaning, think about passing along your old books for someone else.

This year's Cherry Blossom Festival ( March 26- April 10) will kickoff on Thursday, March 24th with a Stand With Japan night.
Starting at 6:30pm on March 24th, the public is invited to gather at the Sylvan Theater for a walk around the Tidal Basin. All proceeds collected during this event will benefit the Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Fund.
This is a great way to soak up some fresh air, local scenery and give back to those in need.
This Saturday, March 12th, we observe Daylight Saving Time (DST).
At 2:00 am you will spring your clocks forward one hour to 3:00 am.
This will give us longer days and more time to enjoy the outdoors and surroundings of our beautiful Lake community.
It is also a good idea to check your household smoke detectors at this time as well.
